OUT 80 BUCKS not happy

So one of my friends asked me to be a brides maid. I gladly accepted the offer. She moved to wedding to a later date. Which I was okay with. Then she entered a contest won and can only have four people in the wedding. I was booted out.

I spent 80 dollars on a dress that I will never wear and the bridal store wont take it back because it was a clearance/ discontinued item. I could really use that 80 dollars.  So what do I do with the dress?

Try to sell it on Craigslist...or take it to a consignment shop!

Try posting it on Craigslist or something. I have a friend selling her wedding dress on there. It was never worn and it is beautiful. Someone on a budget might look there for a dress and even if you don't get the full 80 back some of it is better then nothing, Good luck.

The "friend" should reimburse you. After all, she WON the wedding! But good luck on that. Try craigslist.

I would bill the bride. She at least owes you that since she booted you out!
