Has anyone tried Veet? I'm thinking about buying it but I don't wanna waste money. I hear all these stories about it burning or messing up your skin. Is it true? I'm a little skeptical.

My friend said it worked pretty good for her. However I have also heard people say it doesn't work. It is probably different for everyone.

it burned my skin, so yes it is true. Luckly I only did it on a small part of my leg. Just so you know, all of those types of hair removal products burn my legs, nair, veet, etc

If it burns/stings, it means that you have a sensitivity to one or more of the ingredients in it. If it makes you break out in hives, or leaves some red bumps on your skin, you're allergic to something in it (not just a sensitivity).

Doesn't work for me. I leave it on for longer than it says, might take off a little bit, but the majority is still there.

I usually use Nair, and sometimes Veet.  Lately for me, neither seems to be working, my body chemistry must have changed since I had my son.  What really sucks is my leg hair is coming in dark brown.  Just really annoying.  But everybody is different, so hopefully it will work for you.

My husband got it for me when I was pregnant with my first, but it was just a PITA. It is basically shaving, just without a razor.
