• You do what is best for your family.

  They want to keep the kids in a similar environment they are use to. I know families who have the same arrangement. The children know, but having them stay at the same house, instead of going back and forth makes it easier on their kids.

  You know the paparazzi will be there every time there is a pickup, drop off. Anyway they didn't get divorced today, they filed today. They can still salvage their marriage before its final. Kate acts like she wants to..badly. If only Jon would realize that his marriage is worth fighting for.

  They may have.

  You have to remember this was a LONG time coming. It wasn't something that started a few months ago, just a few months ago the media caught on.

• my question about the house arrangement....What happens if they do finalize a divorce and then one/both of them get remarried? I dont really see the new spouse being game for the packing up everyother week and basically moving. How does that work?

• Well I have to say I don't blame Jon for leaving Kate. Every single episode she cut him down & embarrassed him. He could never do anything right. A person can only take that abuse so long before they snap.

• I watched Jon and Kate Is It Too Late on TV Guide(not sure what channel) I saw Jon punch one of the twins in the shoulder and told her to be quiet, she was then crying, Cara I think and thye try to make Kate out to look bad for popping one child on the butt? Very sad for the kids and I feel bad for Kate that Jon seems to think he can fall back into being a single guy without any worry. Wow! He is lame!

• Ok so hubby and I have been watching and talking about this over the past few episodes.....we don't think it's anyone's fault it's a mess that has gotten out of control.  Most men would feel ackward at best if they had to quit their job (their PROVIDER status for the family) and live off money made from their children.  That had to take a toll.  Kate is mouthy, and that had to wear on his ego.  (And by the way, I think she is mouthy with reason - any SAHM knows that if you don't have a system it doesn't work, and with 8 kids she had her system down pat for a reason.)  I do think Kate had her ego knocked down a bit when Jon filed for divorce.  I think she was still trying to save face.  But whatever.  I hope somehow they fall madly in love again and work it out.  I would hope that for any couple going through this.

• I agree...He didn't even want to do the show. She insisted though so she won.  Now see where it got her?????

• I think it's all for ratings. What they filed for was a legal separation, not a divorce. There's a difference. I think this is a setup for a reunion. Or else they would've actually filed for divorce.
