I'm here in Campbell KY/TN
Edit:
Do you have a Yardsell website since you can't have yardsell's on post? I'm in love with ours,
Campbellyardsells.com It's soooo friggen awsome.
Proud Army Wife to William since '07 and Mommy to Hunter Lee since May '08
I'm a CIO to a point, spanking, cussing, yelling, screaming, bottle formula feeding, full vaxing, cir'c mommy! My son is happy loved and fatter than a butterball, my husband is the same way and that's how I love it! If you have a problem, hate it for ya, I'm not changing shit.

Haha, I hate it. it only ever rains. or snows. and we live off post so ac isnt standard at our house and i'm almost 8 months pregnant. its okay though, only a few more months and a pcs will be in after deployment. hopefully to hood, or just down south in general. I dont do cold. lol
LOL I believe her....And yes, Killeen does suck. We live in Killeen just outside one of the gates, and I hate our neighborhood. But we signed a 1 yr lease so we're stuck. We were offered a place on post but it was a dump, that's why we live off post. Let me know if you get to come here, we'll be here for a few years I'm sure.

Ft. Hood, TX here...We've been here all of 3 months and I already hate it. It's too damn hot. Our first duty station and we get stuck someone that's hot as hell! We're from MN, so we're not used to the normal temps of 100+.
OMG! Wanna trade lol? We're praying that he can PCS to Hood after deployment. Killeen kinda sucks though, Austin is a really fun place to visit and so is Fort Worth (where we're from). It is hot though. My mama said they're having the worst summer they've had in a few years.

we just left hood 3 weeks ago. Thank the lord. I miss everyone and my familys in dallas. but god killeen sucked. and it was so ghetto.

I grew up in MN, never been to TX, but I heard it's AWFUL. My friend Jessica and her family are going there when our hubbies get back from deployment. You might get to meet her. She's hilarious...and she's hard to forget, mostly because her name is Jessica Simpson. No one ever believes her!

I like the base itself and the area. I don't mind the cold much, but my son's skin is awful...so what does the army do, send orders for us to pcs to ALASKA. Not gonna happen. LOL. I've been quite annoyed with all the damn rain.

Alaska would be horrible. We joke that the Army has a good sense of humor sending us up here. I had never even left Texas til we got married.
Yeah, Killeen is ghetto. I told my husband that if we move down there we're living in Lamapas or Belton and he can just drive every day. BAH sucks down there too. Thats one nice thing about Drum.
Wow. A lot of people from Campbell. I am new to the area but can anyone tell me if they know of a Fruteria (Hispanic market type store) around here?
There is one on Ft Campbell Blvd near the intersection of Lafayette I believe.
