I have seen alot of documentaries lately and I honestly do not agree with it and was wondering about others opinions on it.

I found some videos on it.

  • A resounding no to both questions.  None of that is normal behavior.

  • nope. i honestly wouldn't. i see nothing wrong with it whatsoever. its just not something that i could do personally. but if it were something my daughter wanted to do and it really truly made her happy then i would have no problems with her decision.

I understand that you dont mind what others do,but what if you had a daughter who ended up being drawn to that lifestyle when she was older, would you try to talk her out of it ?

i don't have a problem if other people want to do this. but its just not something that i could ever do. i could never share my husband like that. but if others can and are happy with it then i see no problems with that.

  • i have had an enjoyed having a third person play every now and then, but i'm not sure that having a permanent extra person would be something that i would choose to do. that said, everyone has the right to choose what makes them happy, and as long as everyone is a consenting adult and it's not a forced "cult" atmosphere then good for them.

  • I am an extremely "jealous" individual when it comes to my man. I would absolutely NOT share him with ANYONE for ANY reason. I am worth being his one and only, and I wouldn't be with him if he thought otherwise. However what others do is purely their problem, not mine =)

  • I was going to say that whatever other people do is their business, but what kind of effect does this have on the kids in the situation...???  Never could be an option for me, I couldn't handle knowing that my Hubby was w/another woman! No way :)

  • I would NEVER share my husband, home or children with another woman.  If he wants to have another woman, he would have to do it AFTER we get a divorce.

  • Nope as someone else said once on this site " I'm the only one that tickles his pickle"

As far as what others do..well I have no say in what other people do in their bedroom nor do I care.  I come from a Baptist background and have seen the attitude that women should be obidient to men. It was one of the major reasons why I left the church so I don't think that kind of thinking is exclusive to the FLDS. Not all Polygamous families are abusive or condone marrying minors.  Not all are forced into that type of lifestyle.  Regardless, it's not for me.
