I guess it's just me... but why in the hell would anyone want to put their kids in one of those things?

I'm much more comfortable holding my baby if we're in the pool. I was a certified lifeguard for many years and there is no way that I would ever put my kids in any kind of flotation device like that. I once had to save a kid at the lake that's flotation device tipped over. It wasn't pleasant. That was the one and only time I ever had to do CPR on a child. I hate thinking about it.

I used to have this one:

I put my daughters in it so that they could enjoy being in the water with me. I couldn't safely hold both of them at the same time, but I could keep a hand on each boat.

I sent them an email. I want my money back! I only used the float once. Anybody else talk to them and figure out how to get your money back?

And to the PP, I use the float because it is a nice break from holding her. Sure, Im still holding onto the float, but it alowed me to swim her around.

I can see how the baby may fall into the water, but drown?  Are people really stupid enought to NOT stand there with their child?
