    Quoting lovebugs_mom:

I only gained 12 pounds when I was pregnant. I was a little overweight when I got pregnant, so I was perfect for my body. I joke that being pregnant was the best diet I have ever been on because I walked out of the hospital lighter than the day I found out I was pregnant! I can't wait to do it all again.

  • I gained 73 lbs with my daughter, but about 40 of that was water that came off with Lasix within 2 weeks of giving birth.  This time, I have gained about 37 lbs, and I still have 2-5 weeks to go.  I seem to have stopped gaining weight though.  In fact, I actually lost a couple of lbs between my last two appointments.

  • 40 with my first. 50 with my second.

But I did not get FAT. I got PREGNANT.

With both girls the weight was completely off of me by 3 months PP - and that was with trying to KEEP 10-15lbs on.

  • With my first, I gained 15 pounds, and went home from the hospital 5 pounds lighter than i started, so i lost all the baby wieght and 5 more pounds before i left the hopsital.  he weighed 7lbs 15 oz

With my secon, I was really sick, and only gained 7 pounds.  But he was healthy and weighted 8 lbs and 4oz.  I'm not sure how that makes sense?

  • With my first, I started at about 130 and ended at about 165.  With my second, I started at about 160 (I lost tons of weight after my daughter, but then started gaining it back before I got pregnant) and got up to 193, then lost a pound in my last week to end at 192.  So I said 30-40 lbs.  Oh and now I'm at 172.  It held pretty steady between 2 and 6 weeks PP, I only lost a pound.  Grr.... Oh well, I'm breastfeeding, can't do any crash dieting!
