  • In our house I manage all the finances.  So if anyone is "asking" for money, it's him asking me.

  • We use our credit cards mostly (pay them off every month), and he gives me cash to have on hand (only because he's the one that goes to the bank).  But no i usually don't *ask permission* to spend money when i go out shopping.  Now big purchases we discuss it before we buy anything, but if i want a shirt or a pair of pants or a coffee from Starbucks i just get it.  I'm an adult and he's not my father he's my husband.

  • No...not usually....occasionally I just happen to not have any cash on me at all.. I typically handle all of the bills and such and so I am usually the one with all of the "money"... ( that really only exisists in my head..LOL ),,,, we talk about EVERYTHING... we both always know exactly what's being spent...all the time. We don't have much at all so we are very committed to staying on top of things together.... As a SAHM, I don't usually need that much money.. I am HOME... but I do keep out a little so that I can grab a Slurpee ( .75 cents ) or something from time to time... we don't do fast food so that helps alot ( with the exception of the apple dippers from mcDonalds..NO caramel...) My husband totally understands that while I don't earn an actual paycheck.. I do work very hard!

  •  Well... now that we have twins and I had to quit work, it's a drag to have to ask  DH  for money when I run outof what he gives me every two weeks. I really miss working:(

  • I'm not a SAHM.. I'm what most consider to be a "House wife"..

But.. nope. I don't ask my husband for money.

I have plenty of my own.
