Do you ask your husband for money?
nope I never have to ask for anything. Just because he leaves the house to work doesn't mean squat. It was funny cause after our 3rd baby, which was another c-section, he took 2 weeks off to help me out around the house & with our two girls....he told me he could not WAIT to get back to work lol. So he knows what I do on a daily basis 24/7 and tells me no money in the world could cover the wages I should be paid.
Quoting meandmybean:
I think there should be an option for "we jointly decide how to use/ spend money".
Neither of us purchase anything without the others consent. That way we both no where money is being spent.
I didn't put up that option b/c to me, that's not asking. Hubby & I make decisions together too. I guess what I was talking about is some women make comments about asking their husband permission to spend money. To me if your discussing it together, than you & your hubby consider it "community" money, not just his.
I voted yes only because I let him know that I'm taking his debit card.
No, I have access to all accounts...but I will give him a heads up or ask him if I want to make a large purchase, or go on a shopping spree. I think it's courteous.
I am working on eventually being a sahm. I was so jealous, I just wanted to see what this poll was about. I didn't vote, since it doesn't apply to me yet. When I am home, I will have my own money!
