yes, thats right! you read it!

I am sick of running out of my house as fast as I can go saving these bunnies that SIL set loose on the property! From several different things: Our dog would jump the fence to chase them, he jumped the fence and killed one a couple weeks ago, so we made it so he couldnt jump the fence.... I've chased off a few foxes and a lynx... and the bunnies seem to chase off the moose, but whatever....

And just now I had to go get my cat from chasing them AND fighting them..... Our cat leaving the yard is a new thing.... she used to NOT leave the yard and just happily chase bugs inside the fence.... FIL would always go on and on about how its "so funny" the cat stays in the yard. Well... I busted SIL last weekend trying to coax the cat OUT of the yard through the space between the gate and the rest of the fence.... she thought I wasnt watching, but my bedroom window looks right out over the fence, I got a video of her doing it... showed it to DF and DF says "oh she was just petting her" .... OY! ... Which, yes, she was... but you cant hear on the video saying "come on kitty, come here!"

Im so pissed off about this.... it's so annoying... and even worse these bunnies are having babies like crazy. I know of a couple litters around the property from just this week.... arghhh

anyone want bunnies? lol ... they're super cute and fat from all the bugs around here.

Aw bunny! I don't think DF would want a bunny in the house. I'm tired of animals that I have to clean up after lmao. I want a fish. :[ All I have to do for that is clean its tank and feed it.

Get some humane live traps, most humane societies and animal control places rent them for a nominal fee or hire a trapper who uses humane live traps to catch them. Make a nice bunny salad as bait , catch them , keep them in a kennel or other safe container till you have them all , then either look for a bunny rescue or for a local shelter to take them in. Oh and slap your SIL upside the head for me , you dont let domesticated pet rabbits loose in a YARD for pitys sakes.

Oh god, It's not even a yard, it's 6 acres of land and the only fenced in areas the bunnies cannot get into.

I wish I could to that... but the world would seriously stop moving and explode.... I talked to my fiance about doing it, but he agrees that it's something that would cause a bunch of bullshit between the two houses... im going to wait until they get a renter into the other side of the duplex... THEN im going to call animal control about several different things out here.. dont even get me started on the damn chickens

What kind of "bunnies" are they? Were they Rabbits that were kept as pets then set free, were they breed? Why did your SIL let them loose? You do realize they are in their natural habitat and that is what rabbits do?

I think there is more to this story because I don't see how rabbits can be so annoying. Is it because your animals are going after them? That's called the food chain and just how the world goes. Just because you make an animal domestic doesn't mean they loose their instincts.

Well at least YOU do something that is for a cause. I think that is very cool of you... Yup, she has 1 rooster that never shuts his foolish mouth and about 13 or 14 egg hens.... she lets those run loose on hot days, which isnt that bad, because the rooster taught our dog real quick that he was the boss....

Oh yes, that is it... its this big conspiracy 'and there is sooooo much more to the story'

no. really there isnt. SIL got the bunnies "money bunnies" and "yummy bunnies" ... they had babies to fast for her and no one wanted to buy the bunnies. She set them loose on the property. End of story.

Yes, it's pretty obvious they are in their "natural habitat." So that means I need to let my dog, cat and other animals chase and probably kill them? hell, if I posted about THAT you'd be freakin out because I let MY domesticated animals kill them. now WOULDNT you?

I would just leave them be. If your animals get a couple of them, it is not the end of the world. Actually it would be completely natural.

And rabbits don't eat bugs.
