  • My kids see my mom like once a month, sometimes more.  They see my dad once every few months,  my daughter used to see him all the time but now we live over 2 hours away.  My hubbys dad they see maybe once or twice a year.

  • My parents live real close by so they see them at least 4 or 5 times a week.  They love them to death.

  • My fiance and I live with his parents, so my kids see them every day!  And my parents only live 4 houses away, so I can take the kids to see them whenever I want - but at the very least, my kids see them once a week.

  • They see my mom and step-dad once or twice a month.

They see my dad every few months.

They see my IL's every few months.

What's sad - my mom lives 45 minutes away, my dad lives 10 minutes and my IL's live 4 1/2 hours.

  • my dad lives close so we try to see him often but it's usually only like 2 times a month (give or take of course, sometimes its more and sometimes he may be out of town so we don't see him)

my grandma lives pretty close to and she flips if she doesn't see my boys at least once a month lol but she is irritating in her old age and i can only handle so much of her lol

my in-laws live back in cali (we're in texas) so they come to visit a few times a year. we usually see my MIL more often than my FIL... my MIL was just here in April and will be here again this month (so will my FIL whenever my baby decides to grace us with his arrival!) and my MIL at least will probably be out again later this year and we're going to try to take a trip to cali to see them...

so really it just depends :)

  • We see my mom and my dad about once a month. (They're divorced.) DH doesn't speak to his dad or his mom so that's it.

  • DD sees her paternal grandparents 2-4 times a year. She has only seen her maternal grandmother once when she was first born, and planning to go meet my side of the family this year. It really depends on who can come up with the money for me to visit, and actually getting out there. I live in texas, my mom lives in Connecticut and my MIL lives in Nevada .
