My in-laws (MIL, FIL, & BIL) have been keeping my 5 yr old dd for a few weeks now, and I'm picking her up next Saturday. They offered to help me out during the summer for about 6 weeks, so I could get through my 2nd semester of nursing school a bit easier. My husband is deployed and my in-laws live in D.C. and I'm in SC. I really want to get them something (affordable) to say thank you. It would need to be something for all 3 of them, and I just can't think of anything. I don't have much time or energy to go to stores and shop around for 3 different people right now, but I still want to get them something... like a joint gift. PLEASE give me some ideas :) thanks!!!
maybe like a giftcard so they could all go out to dinner or something?
Well....you could get them a large bowl and put a few pkg's of microwave popcorn, Dot's, Junior mints, Milk Dud's, 3 bottles of soda and a giftcard to block buster....that would be a little more personal.
We often get gift baskets from Harry and David when we want to send something that everyone would like.

Ohhhh, Harry and David. That's not a bad idea. They have a website right?
There's always those edible fruit arrangements if they like those things. I got one on mother's day and it was delicious!!
They sure do :)
