for summer time.... Meatloaf with mashed taters, a veggie and a fruit or ice cream for dessert.  Baked chicken is another good one.   What do you usually buy out?  There area  few sites that you can find recipes to adapt the food you like into home cooking.  Summer time i try to do light cooking to beat the heat.  Even fries taste better when made at home.  You cut potatoes into sticks ,  heat the oil and fry them.

Today's dinner was:

Pork like the pork steaks sliced then added in a deep pan with water and minced onions; let sit on medium heat for half-hour or until done; add water if need.   It makes it really tender and juicy.

Au-Gratin potatoes (I cheat by box).

And Mixed veggies with italian seasoning.

With a brownie with syrup on top choclate.

my favorite easy thing lately is some chicken breasts, marinaded in garlic salt, pepper, and onion flakes..then pan fried in just enough olive oil to ccoat the bottom of the pan..cook about 7 mins each side..cslice the chicken up and add it to some pasta (I like bowties or rotini noodles) add some sliced tomatoes, bell peppers, and onions toss with a few dashes of olive oil and some shredded parmasean cheese.... the whole meal is seriously like 15-20 mins..and sooo good, my kids love it too
