I'm trying to think of ways to do my sons room? He will be 20 months when we get our new house and we will be redoing his room. He will have a big boy bed and new bedding and everything well I dont really know what I want to get him. I dont know if I want to get him a cars bed like this

or if I want to get him an actual bed so I can just change the covers when he's ready for new bedding? And if I was to do his room like this how would I paint the walls? Because I dont want white walls.. And any other ideas of how to do a toddlers room please let me know and post pictures if you can. Thanks :)

  • I would just get a twin bed. He will be able to use it for years. My son was almost 2 when my mom got him his big boy bed, and he loved it. As for decorating, I am not the one to ask for that LOL :)

  • DD will be 2 on the 18th crying

That being said, when we moved into our house a couple of months ago, we went ahead and bought her a twin bed.  We got one of the extra high rails from Babies r Us and a little step stool so she can get on it.  She was a little sad and scared the first night, but after that, we've had no problems.

  • I just did my sons room , not quite done yet but this is what i have done.

I have tons of picture frames in his room of old classic cars ( post card size) 1900's cars.

License plates on the wall and hub caps.

it is turning out way cute.

I want to do a border in license plates but only have 4 plates. so I might go with race flag (black and white) border.

I would go with the twin bed too. Less expense later on.

I am making a quilt with cars on it for him too.

I also made a sign for his door that says Codys Garage

Making street signs like yeild and stop signs also my husband has some seats from his truck and we put them in his room so he can play video games or watch tv.

When he is older anyway (tv and games)

he loves it and he is 3
