Another post got me thinking...(cleaning up after your kids in public)

• i clean up after dd.  like the fries ont he tabel they get put on the tray and in the garbage. 
  when we go out to a nicer place, i gather the napkins and straw paper and what not try to pile it all on one plate...i think its my ocd though my s/o picks fun at me for doing it LOL

• i would clean it up.  i was a server for years before bartending and know that it is sometimes messy.  i stack the plates and put all the silverware and napkins on top.  now that isn't necessary, but what i hated was when people gave their children the sugar packets and the salt and pepper and it was all over the table when they left!

• yes, we clean up as much as possible with only having our hands to use!  lol.....sometimes, we could use  a rag or a broom......and if it's a big mess for us, we will leave a bigger tip.

  We pile the trash and dishes up as well.

• I always clean up after ourselves where ever we eat - fast food or fancy restaurant.  I pick up food that hit the floor; throw trash away at a fast food joint; and stack all of the plates, utensils, trash into neat piles at a restaurant.  I'm rather OCD though, so I can't stand a mess around me...

• We do the same at all restaurants.  At fast food restaurants we throw out our own trash and food that has hit the floor.  At sit down restaurants we pick food off the floor and put it on plates.  We even wipe off the table too so it isn't as messy.  I usually stack items on the plates for easier clean up.

  I was thinking about this the other day, weird!

• We try to clean up most of it...but we also leave a $10 tip...our bills are usually 30 bucks.

  nicer places... ive had the waitress asks if i was/used to be a waitress, lol ( yes i have )

  i clean up the mess we have made and stack the plates and stuff to where they can get it all off the table in one trip. lol.

  walmart.... if my son spills something and i can find something to clean it with i will...if i cant or its a huge mess I will find an employee that can help and my son has to apologize to them for making a mess. i feel horrible asking someone to clean something my kid has done.

  if he were to grab something off the shelf. i make him put it back exactly where he found it.

•  I do all of that, except picking food up off the floor. Well, if my DD dropped a whole thing of fries or something, I would pick it up, but if its a couple of fries, I leave it to be swept. I figure that the floor is going to swept regardless and I am grossed out by the floors anyway. We do empty our table of trash (fast food) or stack the dishes neatly at the end of the table. I also wipe the table of with a baby wipe, if my DD got anything on it (like katsup), just in case it takes a minute for someone to get there to clean it. Nothing worse than dried up katsup!

• It is very rare that we don't pick up after ourselves. If it's a fast food place, we always dispose of our trash. However, if we're at a sit down restaurant and have received horrible service, we don't always bother picking things up. Their tip will drop in this type of instance too. But for the most part, we pick everthing up and tidy the table. We also tip especially well when we have our kids with us...
