Another post got me thinking...(cleaning up after your kids in public)

• If I take my daughter out to eat anywhere, I always clean up any mess that she makes. My mom would have my hide if I didn't. She's my child and it's my job to clean up after her. That's just the way I was raised.

• It's so funny that you posted this cause just last night I was complaining because I had a table (yes I am a waitress) with 2 kids and they sat there and WATCHED their kid crumble biscuits on the floor. Did they attempt to clean it up? nope! Now they didn't leave a horrible tip so it made it somewhat ok. I don't get pissed if the kids make a mess and the parents leave a nice tip, but its those parents that let their kids do it and leave hardly anything!

  When we go out I always stack all my plates with the trash and food in one plate and put all the empty ones under it. I also make sure the bottom plate doesn't have any food on the bottom. I put all the silver ware in a cup with the handles sticking up. LOL I am very anal when I go out to eat. I guess it's the waitress in me

• i clean up after my kids.....usually its the smallest that make the most mess...but yes i pick up....i have been told by waitresses oh dont worry i will pick up i always tell them well yeah but i would like to at least help pick up what i can if my child makes a horendence mess.....just dont see the big deal..would you like to sit at a table that has nasty fries etc underneath thats how i look at it.....but i guess others may think diffrent...

• your like us.... if we drop it it gets picked up.. if we spill it we clean it.. we treat it like our home kinda thing..
