Do you let your kids eat.....

• Ocasionally I let her eat a snack or something while watching TV, but a meal, never.

  We have a rule in our house that you only eat at the table or outside. I am sick of worrying myself in a tizzy over ants and cockroaches. I work really hard to keep this place spic and span and I'll be darned if my two year old makes me vaccum the carpet twice in one day, lol.

• We just moved into a new house with new carpet, so everything is eaten at the table, but they can see the TV from there.  When it's just them eating lunch or breakfast, the TV is on, but when we're all sitting down for dinner, it goes off.

• We have a bar in the kitchen they sit at for breakfast, and sometimes I'll turn on some cartoons while they eat in the morning. IDK how much of it they actually watch though because the tv is behind them, and kind of hard to see. lol We don't let them eat in the living room because they would make a huge mess.

• yep breakfast in the morning is at the coffee table watching whatever is on noggin. it is how he starts his day.  :)

  i eat mine right next to him.

• occasionally... if we are watching a "family movie" we will all eat dinner on trays in the living room., other than that, EVERY meal is eaten at the table.

• When we lived in our apartment, we had no choice but to eat while in the living room, so yes we all watched TV while eating, but I grew up with the TV on during dinner, it wasn't a big deal to me. Now that we live with my dad though, my son, my DH and I eat in the kitchen, the TV is still on, we just aren't watching it. My dad is though, along with his GF, my younger sister also eats in the Kitchen. There really isn't enough room for all of us to eat at the table is one of the reasons not everyone does, the other is, we are family and we spend time together otherways, not just by eating together.

• Just breakfast. Its her Tv time then and I can get some things done while she is eating and watching her shows. Lunch and dinner are both at the table and the TV is tuned off.

  I dont believe or have the space for a dinning room table-we will turn off the tv when we sit around in the living room to eat with many meals but not all.  But this is just me.

• Breakfast and lunch, but, not dinner(well sometimes we will watch comething together, but, that's usually when we have pizza or something)
