im such a huge tummy sleeper, and this is my first time pregnant so im clueless as to how this affects my son.
im eighteen weeks pregnant (however the height of my uterus is much higher- directly above my bellybutton, so i think im a few weeks farther along), and im kinda showing, but i need to know what is goin on with tummy sleepin!!!! i know lying flat on your back isnt a good idea, all my pregnancy books say so, but what about sleepin on my tummy??? am i suffocating him? squishing him?? hes like 6 inches long! oh and another thing. i was feeling my baby a few weeks ago quite a bit, and now i dont feel him at all. my mom says thats normal, alot of women go through that, but then again when i first got pregnant she gave my IBprofen and said it was okay. O_O what is going on!!!!!!! is it possible for my little one to be...forgive me its horrific i know...like, not alive or damaged severely in there without passing??? im seriously wigged out. I NEED HELP!
you are not supposed to sleep on your belly. The BEST way to sleep is in your side. I know there is a particular side. I want to say the left side but i could be wrong as to which side.
You are not supposed to sleep on your tummy b/c it could restrict blood flow to the baby. Instead you should sleep on your side, preferably the left. I used a king size pillow to cuddle, prop and throw my leg over while I slept. Now, after having kids, I prefer to side sleep. Trust me, when your belly gets bigger, you won't want to tummy sleep.

so if ive been sleepin on my stomach the whole time and im not feelin him anymore, did i hurt him real bad? O_O im so scared! why isnt he moving?!?!?!
the only way to know for sure is to call your OB and try to get an appointment. You should have an after hours number to call for when the doctor's office is closed.
