Venting about last night (some swearing) name calling from my husband

Yesterday we come home from a nice night of fireworks and our girls saying that was the best day ever, to arguing and yelling. My husband picks up the mail and its from the bank we (or I) had over drafted $124, so he starts yelling at me to look it up on the Internet and starts calling me names, yes in front of our girls (what a great father). I had payed the bills last so yes it was me but I thought I had figured everything out, that I had left $100 in the bank, well the online won't work for some reason so he storms out to go to a ATM. I get the girls in bed, get myself in bed b/c I had enough, if it happen it happen, nothing we can do until morning or even that, we might have to wait till Monday, so freakin get over it! He comes home proceeds to call me names (his fav is Dumb Brod and Stupid Bitch) and in bed and trying to ignore him, he tries to do the online thing, yelling at me for the password I don't answer him until he comes in the room and I try and tell him the girls are sleeping, he doesn't care, I'm stupid! So yes that was my lovely night turned into a war path, and he tried to apologize when he came to bed but I wouldn't have it, I'm still pissed, he needs to grow up and have more respect for me in front of our girls!

SO SORRY THAT happen to you , My husband gets in those moods in front of our four children too. I just ignore him and he does the same thing and try to apologise. What is wrong with men the smallest things and they blow up they all need to grow up ! If you need to talk or vent I am here ! Have a Happy 4th !

I handle the bills and I flip on him when he spends over $1000 in one month, but then again, I am trying to pay off his $10k student loan. My bank has overdraft protection, where it will draw from your savings if you do not have enough in your checking without charging you. The only time it will charge you is if there are too many transfers from saving into checking. While I applaud your attempts at taking turns paying bills, it is best that one person handle them, whoever is better at money. We agreed not to yell at each other/argue in front of the baby and definitely NO cursing in front of the baby.

It sucks that he reduced himself to childish name calling. Ask him how he would feel if another man talked to you that way or what he would do if your girls grow up and have a boyfriend that talks to them that way. How would he handle that? It is verbal abuse. Abuse is abuse.
