we were told alllllllllllll week he would be off..they kept him till 10 last night in hopes of finishing up just to be told to come in today..UGH its frustrating as hell..especially with no overtime :(

yup- not only is he working... he is working on the other side of the country.and it was 8 years ago today that we started dating...... not that we celebrate this anniversary anymore, now we celebrate a wedding one in November, but it is still a special day to us.
yes he works at a hospital he will be back around 8 and we will go see fireworks
My hubby has to work from 5-11, but it will be much later than that because his restaurant is in very close proximity to the local fireworks display.
I am a non-ERF, can't wait to drop the booster, breast-fed til 6 weeks, Nestle formula using, pro-choice, Independent, open-minded, gay marriage supporting, CIO, NON-AP, former Marine mom to the only perfect child on Earth. Don't tell me how to raise my kid, and I won't tell you what's wrong with yours!
Yes, but he's already home. My DH works midnight to 8am at the county prison, so he is already in bed sleeping (or at least trying). The only plus is that he will get paid double time and a half for last night! Unfortunately, he doesn't get another night off until Friday and this is my first week being a temporary SAHM while I am on STD/maternity leave until October...
mine's not in the service but he is working today.......he will probably be home tonight just in time 2 do fireworks though............but i also wanna say THANKS to all the men and women in the service>>>>>>>>>>and their families<<<<<hugs>>>>>>>>>Happy Independence Day!

My hubby is coming home today!!!! I am soooo excited! my son is even more excited, lol.
he is already at the dock but cant leave yet.... should be able to go get him in about 2 hours tho :)

Yep...Hes out installing fire sprinklers today and making some overtime.
