Anyone elses hubby working today? or you

• My husband is at the hospital doing rounds right now.  It's his day on rotation.

  We have known that that he would have to go in today.

  We just planned our 4th for tonight..

   Hopefully, keeping my fingers crossed, nothing happens and he doesn't get stuck at the hospital late. But, it is a holiday, accidents to tend to happen, so he may very well get stuck there until late tonight..  I'll just have to wait and see.

• mine was supposed to work till 3 today but had to call in sick this morning cause he didnt get a whole lot of sleep. with the stress of the new baby coming next month and our 2 1/2 yr old waking up at midnight and not going back to sleep till 2am didnt help. and now DH has to get a doc note before he can go back into work cause today was a manditory work day. bleh, not to mention i had to take my pain killers for my sciatica last night and boy do those make me loopy and out cold. i couldnt help DH with DS at all. so yea, but he works 4-2 tomorrow and monday even tho monday is his usual day off.

  (oh yea, he works at the local casino as a poker brush)

• My hubby is on deployment. He missed last year 4th too cause he was on deployment. And he is missing this one cause he is on deployment again. So it sucks big time if they have to work.

• My hubby works at Geico.  They celebrated their holiday yesterday so only had limited people yesterday.  All people normally scheduled to work saturdays had to go in to work today.  What's worse is that he's at work til midnight.

  We thought we were going to cook out but they got a call to go get a car in talledega that needs a fuel pump or something.So they have tow it back and fix it.Please pray we do not kill them!
