Its bugging the hell out of me.  I can't pause or fast forward, so if my dd wakes up I have to keep watching a movie or else I'll have to start it all over later.  My dvd player came with a teeny tiny remote and I lost it when we moved.  Grrrr.  Is there a way to program the TV remote or Cable remote to control the DVD player?  We have Comcast if that makes a difference.  Or do I have to buy a new DVD player?  I have a Memorex DVD player now.   Probably a very cheap one, I got it for Christmas.  Okay can anyone help?  Please???!!!

Just go to the store and get a universal remote. Program the DVD into it and voila. $12 bucks.

Yes!

Comcast should have left the little booklet with the code numbers to program your remote with you.

If they did, look up your model of DVD player and use the AUX button to program it with.

We had to do that with our Comcast remote because our DVD remote was smaller than a fricking credit card and my son stepped on it and crushed it. lol

I think there's a website - remotes.com or something?  allremotes.com?  I used it once and it was a lifesaver!

Peace,

Kat
