DH and I were just talking about what our plans for the 4th were, we have decided that we are going to a fireworks celebration tonight, I love fireworks, we are taking his mom too.  it's a nice little family thing.  I am just wondering, what is everyone else doing today?

Going to watch fire works at a local lake/park. It's our daughter's 1st Independence Day.

We had ours last night because it is suppose to rain tonight. My FIL and good friend came over with her daughter...we grilled out...then did fireworks...then put the kiddos to bed and got in the hot tub....

Well hubby is on a double so it will probably be a quiet evening at home.

The boys went on a scout camping trip and saw fireworks at the state park just last weekend...so we think we might just stay in tonight and see if we can spot any from home...      Booo us... right?   Our town puts on a little fireworks at the park..... its a whole lot of waiting and a "tiny" - short... maybe 10 minute, sporadic, display, then bumper to bumper driving home...    We've gone the past few years.

We are having a block party.  BBQ, bouncy houses, volleyball, dominoes, and more.  Everyone is bringing food and drinks.  We are all brining fireworks for tonight too.  We got barricades and a permit from the city to close our street.  It's going to be fun, the guys are setting up the  shade tents and all right now.

Well, I just got off work so I spent half of my day working! Tonight we're just having steaks and watching the fireworks from the Omni hotel across the street from where we live.
