Help! Any tips on how to lose some weight off my hips?

Help! My friends wedding is the end of August. We tried on our bridesmaid dresses today and I hate how my hips stick out in it. I have been walking/exercising almost everyday for the past few months. Any suggestions on what I can do to try and tone them down before her wedding? The rest of me looks ok in the dress, but my butt/hip area is awful.

I think the elliptical machine works well for that area.

Thank you! A friend of mine has one (eliptical) I am going to see if I can come over and use it. I am desperate to try anything (as long as it is safe). I am closely watching what I eat/drink and doing as much excercise as possible without going overboard.

I do the 10 minute rapid results pilates and the 30 day shred by Jillian Michaels. It really helps with toning. I know the 30 day shred is on youtube.

I love the pilates, I have 30 minute workout, don't know who by, but I was really feeling the difference til I got sick! I'm gonna start back up after my move.

Good luck with this and I hope you get the results you want. :)

If you can afford it join Curves for exercise. My Mom belongs to it and has lost so many inches off her hips and stomach. It's a good program. Have fun at the wedding.

Thanks for the replies! I'm going to do what I can from now until her wedding.
