What kind do you have? Is it super cute? Where did you get it? Do you have pictures? I want something unisex...or for a little girl.

  • I think toddler beds are a waste i just put my girls right into twin beds but with bed rails. you figure that your going to have to buy them one anyway when they out grow the toddler bed so just save the money and ge the a twin bed right away.

if u are going to spend that kind of money i would just go right to a pretty twin bed. my dd went from the crib to a twin bed at 18 months and had no problems (she didnt even need rails).

Most of the ones I was looking at convert to twin beds....

Honestly, most of the toddler beds that convert to twin or full-size beds end up converting to a very flimsy and kinda crappy bigger bed. In the end, you typically end up investing in yet another children's bed.

  • I think it woudl be better just to invest in a twin bed and just put the mattresses on floor until she is  older and then use the bedframe of your choice.  We got ours on loan from someone we know but the bed sells for about 50-60 mattress not included (i dont think).  It wont even collapse if i lay on it  LOL.... We just have to worry about when she gets too tall.

  • My daughter doesn't have a toddler bed.  I took off the front of her crib and it's working out pretty well.  One of my friends has a Dora bed for her daughter.  Here is her daughter.

  • If you're willing to spend hundreds, there's a place here called Kidz World that sells stuff from all different manufacturers (so I know you can buy the stuff elsewhere, I'm just not positive where else :) ) they sell beautiful beds that look like they are from a fairytale- one that actually resembles Cinderella's carrage, another that has a castle headboard and posts that light up.. etc. They really are beautiful :)

    a wedding website

I'm a breast/bottle feeding, co-sleeping the first year, kiss on the lips & tell her I love her every day kind of mom. I can let her CIO, but when she calls 'mommy' I'm on my feet and there in a heartbeat. I want my daughter to have many different experiences & to love everyone regardless of their's. I'm anti-abortion, for the right to bear arms, and completely against telling someone who they can and can't love.

  • We bought 2 toddler beds for Joey and he wouldn't sleep in any of them because he didn't see them as a "big boy bed".  We had the beetle car and a sponge bob one.. This time we are just getting a new set of twin mattresses and starting out on the floor and working it up to the frame..

  • When do you know if you child is ready for a toddler bed? Our crib converts to a toddler bed so I was just going to take the side railing off..

My daughter can be known to move around alot when she sleeps.

How do I know when she is ready?
