Needing suggestions for a birthday party for a baby that is turning one...
My daughter is turning one next month and I am right now in the middle of pre-party planning. This is the cake me and the sister-in-law are going to attempt to make....

and I am going to have vanilla, strawberry ice creams and raspberry sherbert. I'm thinking hamburgers and hotdogs with potoato chips and french onion dip might be good for food and snacks...so what do you guys think? And the only thing I'm not sure about is what to provide for drinks...I could do sodas or I could look into providing something to go with the cake...what do you guys think? And do you ladies have anything else to suggest that could go perfectly for my daughter's first birthday party?
I dont think it really matters. The 1st bday is mostly about the parents lol, the baby wont remember, or really even know what is going on,...........so whatever you want to do is fine.
For the Drinks.. I would ususally provide the basics.. Sodas for the Adults.. Water bottles and Juice Boxes for the kids.
Also, check this website out.. They have LOTS of Ideas for just about every type of party!

Good Luck and I hope you guys have a blast!
I agree with PP juice and water for the kiddies and soda for adults. Mine is turning 1 in about 1 1/2 weeks and we are doing it at the zoo. Have fun making that cake looks like it will be a blast 8-)
thanks for the website. I will definately check it out. And also thanks for mentioning juice boxes, I didn't think of that.

thanks. The cake does look...hard to make but I'm hoping since I will have the instructions it shouldn't be too hard...and I hope we have a blast making it.
