101 Things for Bored 3-year-olds to do

Hi everyone. My nephew is turning 3 and I had an idea for a present. I want to think of 101 things for him to do. I'm going to write them on strips of paper and put them in a jar. Then when he's bored, his parents can pull out a strip and so something with him. I was thinking that for some of them I could even include a present. Like...Put together a puzzle, I would give him a puzzle.

Anyway...I need help coming up with the 101 things. Can you please help me think of some things? I need simple things that don't require any instruction.

Here are a few I've already thought of.

Read a book
Put together a puzzle
Play with play dough
Blow bubbles
Make a snack
Draw or paint a picture
Throw a ball outside
Dance
Make a sock puppet
Take the dog for a walk

That's it for right now. I'm a little short! Please help!!!

Thank you!

That's a wonderful idea. You should let us know the entire list when you get it done. I don't know what he is learning but maybe you could add something educational. Practice letters, practice numbers you know something like that so he can learn something too.

Here are a few I thought of: Play Red Light, Green Light, Play Duck Duck Goose, or Put on music and dance. My 3 & 1/2 yr old likes to watch Yo Gabba Gabba and I have a ton of episodes on DVR. Sometimes we put on an episode and sing and dance to all the songs. If he's in to YGG, they have a Dancey Dance video you can buy or you can down load some of the songs with Itunes.

Build a "sheet" tent (we've all done that), make instruments (like rubber bands over the tissues box, or beans in a tin  can covered with wax paper)

Thank you! I forgot about sheet tents and pillow forts!

I'll post a full list when I'm done. Keep the ideas coming ladies! These are great!

karaoke, start a garden just something small, go swimming in the bathtub with a bunch of toys, maybe you could get him one of those small vaccums and broom and mop from walmart and he can clean his room with the toys, maybe you could also get him a pen pal for him to draw pics to, slip and slide, water balloon fight, make up songs and then write them down and put them in a scrap book along with his pictures.
