Stop the climbing!!

I have a 2 1/2 year old and a 1 year old. They climb everything, they both do not listen either. My husband and I can not even sit for one second without having to jump up to grab a kid from falling. My older son has bruises all over him from falling. He is not phased at all when he falls. Child locks do not work. Is it normal for a kid to be this active? My older son also perches himself on tables like a bird. A real wild monkey child.

Do they have a climber in the backyard? That would be a safe way of getting through the daredevil days.

I am a non-ERF, can't wait to drop the booster, breast-fed til 6 weeks, Nestle formula using, pro-choice, Independent, open-minded, gay marriage supporting, CIO, NON-AP, former Marine mom to the only perfect child on Earth. Don't tell me how to raise my kid, and I won't tell you what's wrong with yours!

I'm right there with you! My girls were more calm and listened but my son is a wild man. We have been to the er 3 times 4 times for him already, nothing serious, but come on. His new thing is trying to do back flips off my bed. And, my bed is high off the ground. He has landed on his head twice already today. I fear for his life and my sanity! I can't give you any advice because I am losing this battle myself.
