teething, ear infection... whats going on???

For the last few days my 11 mo old DD has been rubbing her head/right ear against her shoulder over and over, and pulling her hair on both sides of her head.  She hasn't had a fever, or vomiting, or diarreah... just the constant shoulder to head move over and over.  She also has been sleeping a LOT during the day, and waking up crying quite a bit more at night.  I also feel like she is just cranky during  the day, but when she's happy, she is SUPER happy and practicing walking, playing with my moms dogs, and crawling/climbing on everything.

So could it be she has a headache?  She just got 4 more teeth in (making 8 total) and I don't see or feel any new ones... could it be teething any way?  Should I be worried about an ear infection even with no other symptoms?  I just am not sure if its a new quirck or if I need to make a dr's apt asap.

TIA!

My son did that for 3 days and I assumed it was teething. But I finally took him to the doctor and he had a double ear infection. I felt so bad.
