if you have comcast you can download mcafee. i LOVE it! it's one of the best virus scanners out there! if not its SUPER hard to find a good & cheap virus scanner.

We have Mcafee and Norton I think. Both we got for free because my husband is military.

Thank you ladies. By cheap, I mean, like under or around $40. Just in case that a changes an answer. I want something reliable.

My mom does computers for Nationwide Insurance, and this is where she sent me.  I have PC Tools Antivirus and Spybot Search and Destroy.  She also gave me some program called Malwarebytes, but I'm not sure where she got it.

Dr. Phil said that the secret to inner peace was to finish everything you started.  So I looked around the house, finished the book I wanted to read, my old Prozac prescription, the rest of the cheesecake, and a bottle of Jack Daniels.  You wouldn't believe how calm I am now.

Malwarebytes is also free and an awesome tool to get rid of a virus that you already have on your computer, but it will not protect you from getting them. Spybot is ok, and I have not used PC Tools.

Just an quick FYI you should have your own AKO...its simple to set up if you don't have one...You are not really suppose to go on his.

I think you go to the ACERT Anti-Virus page and you can download it from there.
