Is it against Cafemom Rules...

I've currently listed some items on ebay, and if things sell well, I'll plan on doing it more often.  Is it against Cafemom rules to list my ebay link in a post, so people can view my items?  Or, will that get my post deleted?  I read the rules & regulations, and it says that I can't advertise my business, but this isn't a business.  I'm just selling stuff.  I have the items listed on my profile page, but just wondering.  Thanks!

They have a garage sale group that I am a member of and I know they post e-bay stuff on there.  You got anything good....I might want to bid on it...lol!!!

I believe it is against the newcomers group rules. There are groups for people who sell on Ebay or other venues....I have one of those groups:)

LOL, thanks.  Right now I just have a few little things that I'm trying to get rid of.  And, if it goes well, I'll sell other things.  I tried about 2 years ago to sell things on e-bay.  All my husband's old baseball cards sold very well, but any knickknacks and things that I had listed, hardly sold.

I believe it says you can 'advertise' your business as long as you dont bother anyone. Just try posting it, if its a violation they will just delete it.

If you choose not to decide you still have made a choice.

Okay, I'll try that.  How about if I put the link in a siggie or something?

I'm not technically promoting the website.  Just listing the stuff that I'd have up for sale.

Hi!

You may want to check out the CafeMom Marketplace or on some of the groups that allow advertising.

Also, here are some other ideas and guidelines for advertising on CafeMom: Advertising on CafeMom.

Hope this helps!
