Have any of you BF'ing mothers had Thrush or have Thrush? I have been experiencing some of the symptoms and I was wondering what you have done to get yours to go away. I looked up some things online but I was just wanting to hear from other women who have thrush so that I have someone who I can relate to :)

I had it with my son, but  took him into the dr's and got some nystatin for it. You can try otc gentian violet though, that is supposed to help out quite a bit. I do know its painful though.

My sister had this.  There was medication she had to take, and then the violet stuff she had to coat her baby's mouth with.

I just started taking probiotics when I thought I was getting thrush (Also gave some to my babe).  It got better before it got worse.  Gentian violet is another treatment.
