Eye Question

So, my dad and I were recently talking about eye color and he brought up some good points. He said that people with lighter eyes tend to have more eye problems and also squint when it is sunny outside. People with darker eyes tend to have better vision and dont really squint when it is sunny out. His brother used to work in an optometrist's office, so that is where he is getting his information from. It doesn't apply to everyone but I do notice it kind of.

I have better than 20/20 vision but I do squint when it is sunny out, I have light eyes (bluish green). DH barely squints outside but he wears glasses, he has brown eyes.

So, what is true for you?

I have bright green eyes and I squint a lot, and I do have poor vision.

My son has brown eyes but I don't think he does squint, he wears glasses.

I have had eye problems since I was little. And I am very sensitive to light. IT has to do with the pigments. I have baby blues :)
