Husband Obsessions? You know you got one!

Ok, DH and I are seeing a movie in an hour.  Takes us about 15 minutes to get there.  I asked when he'll be ready.  "When I'm done putting this stuff in the fish tanks."  That's his answer.  The fish. Always the fish.

Here's how the fish started...our DD is 5 and went to Pre-K last year.  The last 2 months, she begged for pet fish.  So, on her last day, we went to Wal Mart, got her a 10 gallon tank and a few goldfish.

Fast forward 3 months....The goldfish are gone (sold them).  The 10 gallon tank has 3 platys, 3 guppies (one just had 15 babies), a snail, a clown loach and some ghost shrimp.

He bought a 46 gallon tank and it's our saltwater tank.  It has 3 damsel fish, a royal gramma basslet (beautiful), 4 blue reef chromis, 2 clown fish (Nemo and the Mrs.)  4 crabs, and a fire shrimp (so cool looking).  He is ALWAYS messing with the tanks.  He's buying something, ordering something, always the fish!

Don't get me wrong, I love them.  I've always wanted clown fish, but, DAMN, he's killing me.

What are your DH/SO obsessed with?

Haha, it is sports usually football, boxing, or UFC. I can walk by naked and not get noticed! Well, at least he is home.

Oh wow....it's fish tanks here too!  We have a 29 gallon fresh water in the bedroom......a 12 gallon biocube with salt water in the living room, and a 75 gallon freshwater in the living room.  He just bought a 60 gallon hex shaped one for his office at work.  He also has a cat litter bucket with a filter attached to it sitting on my kitchen counter because he wanted to use that as a "breeding tank."

that's easy....guitars and amps.

He's a musician and has like 5 guitars and all these amps. He's almost got his "rack" completed (I guess that means different kind of amp heads go on a rack)...who knows...

Surfing, skateboarding, kayaking, and fishing so far. I guess it's better than sports though. We do get into the x games and he likes to watch football when the Chargers play but only because he's from San Diego.

My husband is obsessed with his work clothes. I'm not allowed to touch his dress clothes...not to wash them, hang them or even sort them! He is ridiculous when it comes to his work laundry. Our washer was broken a couple weeks ago so we went to the laundromat and the whole time I'm washing and drying all of our clothes, he's pampering his work stuff...and I'm talking like he takes one piece out of the dryer at a time to hang it up precisely on a hanger...like the rest of the families clothes can look like crap as long as his dress clothes are pretty! It's very very funny to me. Whenever he tells me he needs to do his work stuff, I sigh and know that it's an evening by myself because he literally sits in the basement and waits for it to be done!

Not to mention football...Steelers Football...he speaks in the plural when it comes to game day.

Cars. his "porn" is the classic car auto trader magazine. When he dreams, he dreams about cars. usually what he talks about is nothing but cars... his cars... his friends cars.... some "dumbass" that drives a ford and thinks its better than a chevy... god forbid
