i have always heard to keep them rear facing as long as you can..

i have a 22 pound 10 month old and she is 28 1/2 inch and she is rear facing..dd#1 was the same weight and taller then her ...i didnt turn her around til over 1 year i think 14 months ...

i think 15 pounds is too soon to turn forowrd facing just my opinion, i would wait til over 1 year to be safe

I followed the state laws that I lived in at the time.  1yr and 20 lbs.  They are all healthy and well adjusted and never been hurt from turning around at this point-their ages are 11, 8 and 5yrs.

The bare minimum to FF is 1yr & 20lbs. Its 5x safer to keep your chilld RF to the limits of their carseat. What carseat do you have?

They tell you the law then the tell you what is safest.
