my ds did not ever sleep through the night until he was almost 3, but apparently thats rare. My sons dr had me start pumping and putting cereal in the bottle at almost 3 months. Good luck mom!

yes he is old enough for rice cereal but you should never put anything in the 'solids' cetegory in a bottle.  I started my son on a little bit of rice cereal at a little over 3 months but he always got it from a spoon.

SEVEN YEARS!!!!  Yeah, try not getting a full nights sleep in 7 years.  DD would wake up every night.  I got used to it, but it sicked none the less.

Dang give a mama no hope.  Naeem is 2 1/2 and never slept through the night.  He gets up between 4-6 times per night though and sometimes it takes 1 hour or longer to get him back to sleep.  When he turns 3 he's going in for testing as they think he may have sleep apnea or a sleeping disorder.  It sucks monkey balls but somehow my body has gotten used to 4-5 hours of sleep per night.  Oh and no naps either!

Your baby will sleep through the night when he is developmentally ready to. Putting rice cereal in the bottle and making him stuffed to the gills isn't going to help. You're freaking out after three months? Six months is average for sleeping through the night.

my dd didn't start sleeping through the night until she was around six to seven months and now she's a year and still doesn't sleep through the night.
