For the mommas who FF which carseat did you that you liked with a decent price for a baby who turned 1? She is a chunky she is 22 pounds and long! I want thats good, safe and I havent had to buy one in a year or so. LOL. So Im like not all that refreshed on it.

Do the target stores like deliver to your home? We dont have a target anywhere close to where I am lol.

I support ERFing, but you followed the law so not gonna push that, I will give you the info on EHing though...the BEST seat for her would be a seat that can harness as long as possible.  There are some GREAT seats out there.  NO point in getting a convertible seat since she will not be RFing, get a FFing only seat.  Heres my lists and some links

-Graco Nautilus harness to 65lbs then boosters

-Britax Regent harnesses to 80lbs

-Britax Frontier harnesses to 80lbs then becomes a booster

-Apex 65 harnesses to 65lbs and then boosters(BUT must have a high seatback or headrest behind the seat fully so won't work for many vehicles)

Heres some links

I agree with all except the frontier.  Your child has to be 2 years and 25 lbs to use the frontier!

I don't think Wal-mart carries Britax seats.  But they MIGHT carry the nautilus...not sure though.

We have a Safety 1st Summit Deluxe High Back Booster for DS.  He loves it, and we love it.  We moved 1200 miles with him in that seat and he slept most of the time lol.  I got it at Walmart for $110.

I do not know about this other than to let you know that if you order online with target they will ship to your home for a shipping and handling fee. Hopefully you find one you like!!

I am a BF, formula supplementing, never needed to try the CIO method, vaccinating, one day will try ERF, never going to co-sleep, very loving mother and wife, who tries to not be judgemental, will send my kids to public school, doesn't care about your opinion on the war in Iraq or Afghanistan, supports our troops, married to a soldier, baby making factory...wife to Adam, mommy to Jeremiah and our new baby.

I posted the target because those are on clearance online(with free shipping), they may be more in stores, walmart will have the Graco Nautilus though not in a pretty girlie pattern unless you buy it online and ship to store for free shipping.  Toys r us carries them, oh and the Apex 65 can be bought at big lots stores if you have one of those

yeah BUT it only harnesses to 40lbs then then makes a crappy booster so its not worth the money..the seat won't last nearly as long for the money

Right now Target has clearance on carseats and FREE shipping on any orders over $50(which your seat would be)
