I need some hope here. It has only been a few days but i feel like i need to look to the future. I was 14 and found out that my baby no longer had a heartbeat. I had a D&C on friday. I want to know how long it took you to get pregnant again after you had your miscarriage.

First, I'm truly sorry for your loss.

Second, after my first miscarriage (it was also my first pregnancy) I was pregnant again within a couple months. He's now 20. :) God bless and good luck!

It took me 14 days.  Now, I don't recommend trying until after your next cycle.  I had low progesterone and started bleeding again with that pregnancy and thought I was going to lose her too.

Sorry for your loss, but it took me 3 years to get pregnant again. We were seeing a fertility specialist when we got pregnant to begin with and then found out we were 12 wks along when we miscarried. Tried for another 3 years before miss emma happened along. And another 3 yrs before miss hailee came along.

I am not really too much help here. I had a miscarriage in April and one got pregnant again in July. I have to go through fertility treatments though so mine is planned out very carefully.  I miscarried again last month though so I will hopefully get pregnant again in October when we get to try again!

let me preface by saying i'm very sorry for your loss.  i would wait at least one full cycle before trying again.  some doctor's say two cycles.  i'm sure it will go well for you, i was pregnant again immediately two cycles after my miscarriage on our first month of trying again.  good luck to you, and stay healthy and hopeful!

That is about how long it took me. I wasn't really trying, it just happened. I was 9 weeks along when I miscarried. I didn't have any problems with the second pregnancy.

Well Dr said to wait a month before sex but i habe already stopped bleeding and i dont know that we atr going to make it much longer. if i get pregnant before my next cycle i would be thrilled but i know that i would also be very nervous no matter how long we wait

I might not be able to offer a lot of hope, but maybe something to think about. I had 3 miscarriages in 7 months (Aug 06, Nov 06, and Jan 07). Found out the end of April 07 that I was pregnant and went in for bloodwork. My progesterone levels were low so I had to take a progesterone hormone medication until I was 16 weeks along. They believe that is why I kept miscarrying.

Sorry about your loss hun. It hurts I know. Sending baby dust and lots of prayers your way!

I'm so sorry to hear about your loss.

I just had my 3rd miscarriage in 2 years last week. After the first one it took me a year, then the 2nd and 3rd took 6 months. Doctors don't recommend you getting pregnant right away. My doc asked me to hold off for 2-3 months to give my body time to heal.
