I said "maybe".  My parents smoked, so I used to watch them and emulate them with the candy.  That said, the candy wasn't that good.

However, I am against smoking and, now that I know what I do, I think I would feel guilty giving them to her as a "cigarette".  I might just tell her it's stick candy or something.

To answer my own question, I dont think I would let my kids have candy cigarettes. Not because I think that it will eventually lead my kids to smoking. But, because I think I couldnt bare the sight of seeing my kids act like they were smoking. I dont want my children to grow up and do anything that will be harmful to them and thinking of seeing them smoke as little ones kind of disturbs me. I had a dream that my oldest was smoking and I was so hurt and upset and I screamed at him (in my dream). And hes the type of kid I have never even had to raise my voice to. So, no, I would never even want to see my kids pretend smoke.

and, my grandmother died of lung cancer and it was a horrible death and I would never wish that on my children.

Probably not, even though I used to have them as a kid. I especially loved the gum ones that blew smoke. I just think that it makes smoking seem alluring and I don't  want my kids to emulate a smoker.

It depends.  I ate candy cigarettes as a kid, but I don't ever remember pretending they were cigarettes.  I just ate them like they were a stick of candy, since that's what they are.  I'm not against my child(ren) eating them, as long as they don't act like they're smoking.

Those were the best!  I would let my child have them I mean I dont normally go out and buy candy or anything but if he somehow came across some I would let him have them.

I said maybe because when I was little I played (smoking) with them but I also did the same thing when it was cold outside and I didn't have the candy.  My mom still smokes and I have never wanted to and am totally against smoking.
