to the moms who say mind your own business its not your kids,

if you kids weren't around you, and something might happen (guess i have to have this, ex: running in a parking lot, a 3 yr old running around a store, some adult who doesnt look familiar in your neighborhood talking to a child and so on..) should people mind they're own business and let something happen to your kids?

I see mind your own business they arent your kids on here alot so i was just wondering this.

I was diagnosed at 18 with an aggresive form of mulitple sclerosis, I now have epilepsy and have had one stroke, and I am now 22 years old. I am a single mom to one little boy named Jude, and to my Angel baby Nicole Marie.

I don't know I guess approach the situation with common sense. There are times when people should interfere, and other times when people should just butt out.

There is a difference between situations of danger and someone simply sticking their nose where it does not belong :)

I see it most of the time on post about kids getting neglected or not in a carseat , or wandering around by themselves through a neighborhood at 3 years old

Exactly, If I see a kid run off and the parent doesn't notice I will turn them around, If a kid is in the middle of the street I will get them. But if someone is choosing to do something I wouldn't personally I am not going to interfere.

There is a HUGE difference IMO between removing a child from a potential immediate threat and say bashing a mother for choosing how to feed her child, giving her kid mcdonalds, circumcising, not ERF'ing, etc. There are situations where something is a proven danger and an immediate threat. Then there are situations which are truly a matter of personal choice.

Those are situations that are potentially dangerous and may warrant interference. But simply "I don't like how you raise your kid" is not a reason to butt in. That's when the saying "Not your kid, not your business" is called for.

Depends on the situation. If I see a small child wandering around a store without a parent near them, I stay close enough to watch and make sure the parent finds them fast. If the kid acted like they didn't recognize the person I would definitely say something and I would hope the parent would appreciate someone caring enough to do so.
