I am a part time Army wife.  I don't hate it or love it.  I have accepted service to this country is as vital to my husband as breathing.  I will bear any burden that comes along with this life simply because of what it means to him.

I am very happy with the Army life in general.  There are all the normal problems of gossips, annoying neighbors, and the loser that your spouse has to work with....but, you can get that anywhere.

I am tired of the crap my husband is going through and has gone through after a training incident left him with a traumatic brain injury.

I used to love it. Not anymore. Now I know how soldiers are treated when they are no longer useful to the Army. Not only that... but I know how spouses are dismissed and belittled and the only way to get anything done is to be a royal bitch.

I am sorry you are having that experience.

I would venture to say that I am very lucky that group treats our people the way they do. They have done some unbelievable things for me....

Lol I think I have a list going now.

1) Anytime that I settle down on the comfy couch in our living room to BF our son my husband will walk through the door with either one of his soldiers or a senior ranking sgt or ssgt

2) They really do have a list of anniversaries I know this because after much debate over when the next field exercise is they planned it for our anniversary. Also oddly enough if hubby's smoke has any say it is for when his wife is PMS'ing lol.

3) The rumors need I say more lol

4) 1st Sgts that are only waiting out the time till they retire

5) The fact that one of hubby's soldiers always screw up and require a ride, counseling or anything in the middle of the night or right before they are supposed to get off from work.

6) Did I mention hubby's drunk soldiers calling for rides or calling from jail in the middle of the night! Grr

7) Or maybe just the fact that we love the punishment and we are not giving up this crazy life anytime soon. Hubby is in for his career.

Sorry to hear that. I hope your hubby is doing ok. As far as my hubby's battery goes we are very lucky. For the most part everyone is very caring, we are very fortunate that we have many soldiers and spouses that would be here in an instant if we needed them.

Please forgive me for possibly stepping in where I may not belong.  I am not an Army Wife.  I can't imagine what it may truly be like!

************I just want to genuinely say THANK YOU! to your spouses for their honorable positions!  And, that I consider you, the spouses of our finest, quite strong, fine people as well!  You deserve a huge amount of credit for what you do and I hope many agree that you need to be told so!

God Bless!  Best Wishes!

I'm not a military wife.

I really don't know how you do it. You are a very strong group of women. I couldn't handle it.
