Come join us! We are mom's who share about our lives, funny stories, the challenges of motherhood, and the different roles we have as a sister, aunt, friend or grandmother (Nana). You can share whatever you would like here. There is hot coffee/tea on the counter, fresh bagels, crossants, donuts and fresh fruit. Pull up that computer chair and visit with us for a while. :-)
To All Applicants:
Please make sure your Profile is PUBLIC or invite Baps to become your friend when applying for membership to Illinois Mom. This will allow us to see who is applying for membership. Our goal is to become friends. It is also helpful if you have a personal statement on your profile. We understand if you do not post pictures. There is no specific question to answer when applying for membership per se, we just want to know why you desire to become a part of our family. But you must commit to be an active member.

I didn't want to have to post a lot of rules because we are all adults and know how to conduct ourselves. Here's a reminder from Cafemom:
- It's ok to advertise your business in the appropriate places on CafeMom, but don't bother people.
- You're free to post whatever you'd like, just don't make it vulgar or obscene. Also, posting in ALL CAPS is generally viewed as SHOUTING, try to avoid it!
Just remember:

Please do not post links to other sites, unless they are links to finding information about an event posted in Illinois Mom or approved by the group owner.
Please do not start posts to inflame others.
Please do not engage in arguments.
Please do not complain about other CafeMom groups or members.

There have been so many false postings on Cafemom that people are not sure when they are legit or not. So, we want to make sure that ANY thing we post about a missing child has been substantiated.
