According to the program, you should weigh before you begin and then not until day four, day seven, and day eleven. However, I weigh every single day, always. It's what works for me. I've known people who absolutely should NOT weigh every day, because if they fluctuate up one pound, they freak out. Anyway, I'm down one and a half pounds this morning and lookng forward to my shake and banana (bananas are a no no, remember that). I'm just a little headache-y, which is a sometimes normal part of detox. Had my Fit to a Tea yesterday and I've always found that I detox best with Fit to a Tea.

Mmmm... lunch was another big ol' salad... this time I added pickled jalapeno dices. I was kind of hungry, and I think my eyes were bigger than my stomach when I fixed an ate my salad, because now I'm trying to choke down my chocolate shake (I used a cup full of ice and just enoguh water, so it's really thick and taste like a Wendy's Frosty). My afternoon is packed, so I don't want to be starving... not going to be a problem, Im thinking!

I'm doomed on Saturday... I'm helping with a fundfaiser for a family in need here in town. It's called a poker run. Anyone know what that is? It involves riding motorcycles to five different bars and picking up a playing card at each bar and then returning to the first bar and playing a hand of poker. So anyhow... I don't own a motorcycle nor do I play poker, but I am helping at the event and I'll never make it through the day without a wine cooler or two! I'm going to TRY and be good and not eat any of the wonderful food that the women bring to these events.
Alcohol in any form is a major no no when doing a ten day! It not only contains calories, but is acidic and a major toxin.

"Belch!" I burped salad all afternoon... yuck. Okay, so one of the things I learned along the way is that as we get older, we don't produce as many enzymes as we did when we were younger and so we tend to not digest our food as well. Thus leading to indigestion. Especially when I tried to eat about a gallon of salad for lunch! We have a product in First Fitness called LifeGest that is live enzymes, but I didn't have any with me!
I'm doing cooked veges again for supper, so that should be easier on my stomach. Sometimes another symptom of detox is nausea and I'm not sure if it's those lettuce tasting burbs that have me off my mark, or detox. Either way, it's very mild and hasn't slowed me down...
