What do you remeber about the 80's?

I loved rainbow bright, and carebears!  I think its so funny that carebears came back, but never rainbow bright! I wonder if it is because of the whole rainbow thing and gays. That would be really stupid if that was the case.  Also the good old slap on bracelets, love those, haha, I really cant remeber much right now. So list what u remeber!!

i loved Alvin from the Chipmunks i was going to marry him and Kermmie too lol. i remember the music on the bus my faccy one to this day is "wild wild west" or i love rock n roll too. i just watched the new alvin and the chipmunks and i have to say it renewed my fetish for hot rodents LMAO OH OH AND STRAWBERRY SHORTCAKE i had alllllll her stuff lmao

I still have a strawberry shortcake doll from when I was little.  It's the Black baby that used to breathe apricot scent (now she just smells like plastic).  My son gives her kisses.  It's so cute.
I also still have a series of books about Jeni and Jupi.  Did anyone else have these?  I think that they were written in the late 70's early 80's about little kids who were friends.  One was black, one asian, and two white kids.  And they had a dog scruffy.  They're cute stories, but my son tries to rip the pages.
I also like watching Seasame Street with my son because sometimes they show clips made in the 80's.
I also remember Jam dolls, Raibow Brite, My Little Pony, snap braclets (early 90's?), and leg warmers.  I remember when I was four I got a break dancing set with leg warmers, a head band, and a tape with music!

My favorite 80s thing ever was My Little Ponies. I looooved my ponies. Now my 5 yr old has a HUGE collection of them. I bought one that is exactly 20 years older than her (1983!) and I remember playing with one just like it.
Right before this last christmas Walmart had the "classic" my little ponies again!! She got those for her bday in January, she was so excited to have more "ponies like you had momma."

Oh yea I sure do, man I miss the days when our worries was if we missed our fav show on tv...oh sigh if we only knew what it would be like when we grew up! LOL
