I had no idea Tom Cruise was a singer, did you?
Tom Cruise is to start in the film version of the hit Broadway musical Rock Of Ages, which is based on classic rock hits from the 1980s.
The Hollywood superstar is to take the role of Stacee Jaxx, an ageing rocker whose glory days are long past. He’ll get to sing Bon Jovi’s Wanted Dead Or Alive and also Renegade by Styx – ulp!
Anne Hathaway is in the frame for the role of Sherrie, which means she might get to duet with Cruise on the Foreigner hit I Want To Know What Love Is.
