Nursing Vegan?

I have been nursing my 7 month old since birth but I just recently turned Vegan.  Is there anything that I should be upping?  Or vitamins I should take?  Or should my prenatals still be enough?

you need to take a b12 supplement, b12 is the only thing that you can't get from plants. Other than that make sure you get lots of calcium from veggies and enriched milk substitutes, watch the vitamin D as well (d2 is vegan d3 is not) you might want to supplement that as well if you do not get much sun (you get D normally from sun exposure.)

If you are taking prenatals already that should have everything above in it already, but making sure you also get it in your diet normally is a good way to keep healthy. Also load up on good varried forms of plant protiens and watch out when adding new things to your diet, it will be passed to your kiddo through your milk and if he or she has any allergies it can cause issues, add with caution!

I never upped any vitamins, and I nursed all my babies as a vegan until they were all almost three, and I am still nursing my youngest who is going to turn three in October.
