This is one question I hear alot.... Can the placenta stop pulsating before the collection occurs
This is one question that I hear alot . I thought I would bring it up because alot of people make there decision thinking they can not bank if they wait
Can the placenta stop pulsating before the collection occurs?Yes- this was important to me and I know others have decided not to bank because they were under the impression that you couldn't wait. You can though! The cord blood can be collected at any time after the umbilical cord has been clamped and cut. The collection is painless, easy, and safe for mother and baby. The caregiver will not alter their normal birthing process in any way including the timing of the cord clamping. |
