I am a mother of 3, my oldest has a medical condition that makes him a high cancer risk. So when I had my 2nd child my Geneticist told me to bank the babies cord so I did. This way if and when my 1st born develops cancer we will have his brothers blood cord to fall back on to help him recover from the cancer. When I had my 3rd child the doctor again recommended that I bank her cord. So I have 2 cords in storage and I can use them on any of us. I actually feel very safe with these in the bank. If you have any questions I will try to answer them.

Stacy I know that must be a big relieve to have that. When I did decide to do it I told my husband lets just think about it like an insurance that we hope that we never have to use.
