Well since I am the only one here I guess I will :)

Name:  Susan
SO:  Jake
EDD:  December 15th
Other Children:  NONE

Thats the short version.  What else do you want to share?

Our story is this:  We had been trying for 10 years to conceive.  Yes you read that right.  10 years.  One doctor charged us $1000 for 6 consultations and blood work.  Another doctor I fell in love with, but after 4 failed IUI's with Follistim, 1 HSG, and his refusal to do a laparascopy--declaring IVF was our ONLY option we sought a THIRD opinion.

On January 31st we visited with our new doctor.  "You are far from IVF" he decreed.  He also WANTED a laparascopy.

On February 12 in the WORST snow storm of the year we drove North so I could have my surgery.  Turns out the reason I wasn't getting pregnant even with the IUI's (other than PCOS) was my L ovary was adhered to my uterus, I had endometriosis, and I had polyps.  Dr. T worked his magic and took out everything that needed to be taken out, and ran blue dye through my tubes.  All looked great!

At my post op he said we could try 3 months with injectables and the "old fashioned way" and then we would move on to IUI UNLESS my post coital was poor.

On March 10 my cycle started.   On March 13th I started injectables, and an almost daily regime of blood work, and ultrasounds.  On March 23rd I triggered ovulation with Ovidrel.  On March 29th I had my progesterone checked and an ovidrel booster.

On March 24th my period was due...it didn't come though I was OBVIOUSLY PMSy.

March 25th I tested with an Accu Clear and got an immediate clear and bright BFP.

March 26th at 16 DPO we had blood work confirmation--HCG 80  Progesterone 174!  We are having a baby!

What is your story?  I love to hear them all!

my name is Lori

DH's name is Lou

not quite positve on EDD b/c i o'ed late.  last cycle was 3/5 and i think i o'ed  3/21ish. so i'm probably due around 12/15 just like you

DS is 14months old.   He was born 1/25/2007

DH really wants to have children that are close in age so we started TTC in Oct.  I thought i was preggers twice, but of course AF was just late.  I was just thinking of buying OPK when i thought of trying a little later in the month than the average 14-16 days of ovulating.  Well sure enough bam that must have been the problem.  Since my first pregnancy was completely unplanned i was totally new to TTC and I feel so fortunate that I figured it out so easily.   I think you are amazing for having the strength to continue for 10 years.  I'm so happy your got your BFP after all that time.  I hope you have a wonderful pregnancy.   With my son i really didn't have any complications.  the only thing that went wrong was the QUAD screening they had me do came back twice with a high chance of birth defects.  Because of this they had me get monthly ultrasounds at the hospital.  They found he had an enlarged kidney during one of these ultrasounds, but luckily it hasn't affected him one bit.   I'm not a professional by any means but if you have any questions feel free to contact me and i'll be glad to help.

Hi, I'm Keli.  I'm not sure what my due date is yet, but I think about Dec 20th.  I go to the doc on Thursday.  My story, well, I have a wonderful 20 month old daughter, handful, but wonderful.  My dh and I actually were discussing that we should wait until nov to start trying again, and that's the night that I got pregnant, woops!  I just had a m/c last month, so I'm a little worried.  It was my third m/c, so......  I've had blood work done and it's on the rise so fingers crossed ladies.  That's it for me, for now.  I look forward to getting to know you all through out our journeys.

Name: Halea
Location: Indiana
Age: 25
EDD: Dec. 22
Other Children: 2  -- Brooklyn, 5, and Wrigley, 3

Neither of my kids were planned, so it wasn't much of a surprise when we found out I was expecting again. I was a few weeks late, but every test I took came back negative. I had been dealing with a lot of stress (death in the family, family illness, etc.), so I assumed I was late because of stress. I actually went to the doctor for a bladder infection and the nurse came in and the doctor came in and said I was pregnant again. Of course, this was the only day my husband had every forgotten his cell at home ... so I ended up driving to his work to tell him. He was thrilled! My kids are thrilled! My daughter wants a girl named Princess or Daisy and my son wants a boy named Semi or Cars. :-) Kids are too funny!

This pregnancy has been a little rough for me as I have had to come off depression medicine. I've been really light-headed and dizzy. I've also had lots of headaches (which is something I've always dealt with, even during pregnancy).

So, we're just praying for a healthy pregnancy with a healthy baby in December!

Hi My name is Julie I live in Georgia with My DH and we have 1 son thats almost 4 and we are due around December 14th-18th not quite sure some where inbetween the baby keeps growing more than I am along, so in all actuality if this pregnancy is anything like My previous then i'm good to go anytime after the 1st. Our Son was born 3 weeks ahead of Schedule and weighed 7lbs 14oz and was 21 3/4" long. So It'll be nice to see how this one continues to develope.

Hi, My name is Loni and my husband's name is Doug. We have a 2 1/2 year old son and I am due Dec.16th. We've all lived here in P.A. our whole lives. Well my story goes like this we were on vacation in March of this year from the 14th until the 30th. We weren't even trying to get pregnant but somewhere around the 27th it happened. We are hoping for a baby girl but either will be fine with us as long as it's healthy.

Name: Cristina

SO: My husband, Jose.

EDD: December 29th

Other Children: 1 beautiful little girl.

There isn't much to our story. This baby was unplanned after my DH and I decided not to prevent and not try to conceive 6 months after the birth of our daughter. We didn't think I could get pregnant on our own without fertility drugs.

I had a much harder time conceiving our daughter as I have PCOS, 1 blocked tube, and possibly Endometriosis. We tried to conceive our daughter for over 14 months with the help of a fertility specialist.

So while this pregnancy was a big surprise to us, we're very happy and excited to add to our family.
