Please introduce yourself and let us know a little bit about you!
I'll start. :)
I'm Heather. My husband, Kevan, and I have been married for almost 11 years. We have four children: Emily (10), Abigail (8), GraceAnne (6) and Matthew (3). We have been homeschooling for five years.
My first two were hospital births. The first with an epidural the last ten minutes and the second a planned unmedicated birth. My doctor missed both births. Our third was a home waterbirth with Tiffany Koss. The fourth was a semi-planned unassisted (I planned on having Tiffany here in case I needed her but wanted to birth as unassisted as possible) but he came before Tiffany arrived.
In July of '06 I took labor doula and childbirth educator training through CAPPA. And in November of '06 began midwifery studies. I have been apprenticing with Tiffany for the past two years.

Wonderfully Made Birth
I am a RN and board certified lactation consultant. I am training to become a homebirth mw. I also work as a back up doula for Natural Lullibies where I also teach prenatal breastfeeding classes. I teach infant CPR and a few other classes for St John's.

I am Alyse. I have been married for 2 1/2 years. We do not have any children, but they are in the future. I am really drawn to homebirths and am doing a lot of research to make an educated decision. Any advise, suggestions, information, etc is MOST appreciated!
My name is Rachel. I'm 24. My husband and I just found out we are expecting our first child in August 2009. We've talked about homebirth for years and now that the time is finally upon us I want to learn more and find out what we can do and what we can make work.
Welcome and Congratulations Rachel!!! If you have any questions at all please feel free to ask here. :)

Hi, it's Paige! I finally joined this group although my decision has been made for some time now to homebirth. I am planning an early July homebirth with Tiffany and Heather! Woohoo for the girls at Tulsa Birth Center!! I had a c/s 12 years ago and am looking forward to a much different experience.
